Hello guys, I'm working with Landsat 8 images, trying to create burn indices and consequently severity classes. As such, part of the procedure is preparing the images, which involves creating cloud masks on both PreFire and PostFire images. Now I know the how to go about with that but the problem lies in trying to calibrate the PostFire Cirrus band image to TOA reflectance. I'm getting the following message: 'RadiometricCalibration Failed: Calibration Processing Failed'. I've successfully done this for the PreFire equivalent and was wondering if anyone could be of help. I'm still novice at working with ENVI. Cheers.

Are you using the latest version of ENVI (5.3.1)? I just tried a cirrus band of an L8 dataset in the Radiometric Calibration tool and it performed the task without error. So it *should* work. Does it have the appropriate metadata for calibration? You can use the View Metadata tool and look at the Spectral information to see if the radiance and reflectance scale factors are present. Does it occur with more than one dataset?

Thank you for the response. The problem has been solved. I restarted the computer and consequently the application, tried it again and it worked. No idea what was causing the problem given that it worked with the other datasets. Regardless, I appreciate your help.
