Is there a ENVI tool that can measure and record directional Azimuth or degrees relative to North in a georeferenced image? Can polylines as vectors or ROIs record this information? Thanks,

Yes, right on the ENVI toolbar above the display you will see in the upper right a measurement triangle icon in yellow. This will bring up the mensuration tool. You can draw lines with this tool, and ENVI will report the length and orientation of each segment in the line. - Peg

Thank you Peg. I failed to mention I am using ENVI Classic 5.3. Were you describing tools in ENVI Zoom? Otherwise there is no default "ENVI toolbar" that I am aware of. Under Basic Tools? Matt

Hi Peg. I think this post got lost in your inbox - Could you clarify your earlier response and respond to my question. Thanks!
