You might try moving/removing the .idl directory in your home. This is located here on Windows: c:\users\\.idl Then restart ENVI or IDL to recreate this directory fresh. If the error persists, you might try using the outofprocess flag to launch ENVI: http://www.harrisgeospatial.com/Suppo...x

Hi, It looks like you got a response to the content of your original post, but not to the question of why your post was not visible. You would have had to press the "Show No Replies" link under the search box to see your post when it was sitting there without a reply. I know this because I posted a question and expected to see it at the top of the Forum when I came back to the list of posts. But the post will not show up until someone replies (unless you press "Show No Replies.") So, my thanks to those people who actively look for the unanswered questions.
