I've been testing Generate Point Cloud from stereo images on WorldView-1/2, GeoEye and QuickBird data in ENVI 5.4. But in most the cases ENVI returns message "Generating point clouds requires at least two rasters in the supportes formats", while all the images contain RPC, overlap more than 50% and listed in supported data types. Exporting data to ENVI format with a generic RPC sensor model doesn't help. What can be the cause of the error? Are there any limitations for this tool not listed in Help?

This error message usually means pretty much what it says: To extract a point cloud you will need to specify two different images. Worldview etc. stereo imagery typically contain two datasets. You will want to first open both datasets in ENVI, then start the Generate Point Clouds tool. That tool walks you through picking first one of the stereo image, and then the other.

Are you finding that if you pick the two different stereo images that you opened in ENVI, you still get this error message? Are you sure that your datasets are stereo data?
