I am familiarizing myself with deriving texture co-occurence measures in ENVI. Could someone please confirm the following: - If I want to change the look direction/orientation of my texture filter to 135 degrees (i.e., to find relationships of a pixel with its neighbour 135 degrees or southeast), would I change the "Co-occurrence Shift" in ENVI to: X=1, Y=-1? This seems rather intuitive, but my results appear "strange" when I use those parameters. Thanks, Randall

In what way do your results seems strange? I am also beginning to use the texture co-occurence measures in ENVI. I used a shift of X=-1, Y=1 to achieve the 135 degree direction which should be equivalent to X=1, Y=-1. The other 3 directions yield very similar results whereas the stats for this direction are different and have a number of NaN returns (unlike the others).
