Hello! I know that TassCap use coefficients derived from Landsat images (MMS, TM), in case of Landsat 8 it's necesary to redefine those coefficients? What if I perform a Spectral Subset to Landsat 8, saving just the same 6 bands present in Landsat 7 and apply the Tasseled Cap transformation in ENVI selecting this Pseudo Landsat 7 TM (derived from Landsat 8)?

    thanks for any comment

ENVI currently does not support the TC transform for Landsat-8 OLI data. We have a feature request for this - ENVI-69227 - to which I have added your name as a user who would like this functionality. I would not use the TC coefficients from the other sensors as they are all empirically derived and the spectral response is different between sensors. I would instead apply the coefficients directly to the data using Band Math or an IDL program.

    Hi Mari,
I just read the post about OLI and Tasseled Cap and saw that you linked to our YCEO website FAQ. Glad you found this helpful!
