Hi i am relatively new to ENVI, and am trying to a convert a sinusoidal world map projection into lambert conformal conic projection, i created the following Lambert customised map using 0E, 0N, central meridian 110E, two parallels 25N and 45N. (want to show china region upfront) but when i use the convert map proj. tool it always gives me error "array dimension must exceed 0" , but with the same projection i was able to convert a demo geo lat/lon map found in ENVI to lambert proj using the proj. i created. so now i am confused as to what i should do? i would really appreciate all kind of help

The 'array dimensions' error is likely because a conversion of the pixel size between the two projections is not reasonable. When you specified the new projection, and you look at the new, calculated output pixel size and output image size, do they look reasonable? If they do not look reasonable, check your custom projection parameters and be sure to specify a datum when specifying the projection in the conversion parameters dialog.
