The modeler only works with tasks and there is no task for the Examples based feature extraction. In fact, the tool does not really work well in a batch process because the settings for segmentation will always be different for each image and therefore so will the examples extracted. Examples based feature extraction is not the same as the Classification framework using SVM or Softmax. I would instead use these options in the Modeler.
