Dear Muhammad, There is not one set of steps that you can follow to analyze all high resolution imagery for all purposes. Probably the best approach for you is to first narrow down the goal of your analysis, then learn about all of the available tools for analyzing imagery. You will then be equipped to choose an appropriate method for the analysis that you need to do. You see, the best type of analysis to perform will depend on your goals, on the characteristics of the imagery that you have available, and on the environment being imaged. For example, you might be interested in looking for a particular type of feature in a particular type of environment, imaged by a particular sensor. The steps you would use for that analysis would probably be completely different if you had a different sensor, a different environment, or if you wanted to do something different, such as identify all of the features that you can see in the image, or map all of the land cover types in the image. Fortunately, you seem to be at a university that has many wonderful resources for teaching you the subtleties of image analysis. I recommend that you talk over your project(s) with someone involved in GMU's Graduate Certificate in Remote Sensing and Earth Image Processing (http://www.scs.gmu.edu/Ac...tificate_main.html). That program also has many classes that you may find helpful. I hope that helps. Sorry there isn't a simple answer to your question. Peg
