Editing Pixel Values in ENVI
You can edit pixel values within an image that is open in ENVI using one of ENVI's Profile tools (Spectral, Horizontal, Vertical or Arbitrary). These tools can be found in multiple places in the ENVI interface. All Profile tools can be found by right clicking on a layer name in the Layer Manager, and choosing Profiles. They can also all be found from the Display menu, under Profiles. The Arbitrary and Spectral Profile tools also have icons on the ENVI Toolbar.
Once one of the Profile tools has been chosen, and an appropriate pixel, row, column or polyline specified, you will see a profile curve plotted in the Profile dialog. To expand the Properties panel of this dialog, click the black arrowhead on the right side of the dialog. You will then see the name of the current profile curve. Right click on this name, and at the bottom of the resulting menu you will find an option called Edit Data Values. If you click this, you will be taken to a dialog that gives you the ability to edit the pixel values for the selected pixel, row, column or polyline.
