Inside Sales & Order Processing, Gilching, Germany

We currently have a position open in our Gilching office (near Munich) for an Inside Sales & Order Processing team member.  The qualified candidate supports our license sales activities, order processing, invoicing and local office team. A high level of customer and team interaction is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports our sales territory (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands)
• Supports the accountant in Germany with monthly sales reporting
• Reconciles monthly sales between CRM and the accounting system>
• Responds to a high volume of calls and emails, and actively handles outbound calls
• Generates revenue through prospecting, up-selling and cross-selling activities
• Ensures that the customer relationship management system (CRM) is current and accurate
• Fulfills a wide range of requests for information from current and prospective customers

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven experience in sales support, telephone marketing or order processin
• Previous experience in an accounting/admin role, with accounting software experience
• Self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English (Dutch is a bonus)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, and CRM and order processing software
• Knowledge of GIS systems and geospatial background is a strong bonus
• Bachelor’s Degree in geography, business administration or equivalent experience
• This position is generally performed in our German office (near Munich)
