PLEIADES Toolkit

This is a user function that will read and import data produced by the PLEIADES sensor in ENVI Classic.

*Note: PLEIADES sensor support was added in ENVI 5.0 SP3 and ENVI 5.1.

The toolkit is able to read, ingest, and process the PLEIADES products.  The supported levels include PRIMARY, ORTHO and MOSAIC.

The functions are available in the ENVI menu at the following locations:

Ingestion:
File->Open External File->Pleiades->Pleiades Images
File->Open External File->Pleiades->Pleiades Mosaic

Orthorectification:
Map->Orthorectification->Pleiades->Orthorectify Pleiades
Map->Orthorectification->Pleiades->Orthorectify Pleiades with Ground Control

To install this toolkit, download the file and place it in the "save_add" directory of the ENVI Classic installation:
ENVI 4.8:
- Windows: C:\Program Files\ITT\IDL\IDL80\products\envi48\save_add\
- Mac OS X: /Applications/itt/idl/idl80/products/envi48/save_add/
- UNIX/Linux: /usr/local/itt/idl/idl80/products/envi48/save_add/

ENVI 5.0 (available only in the Classic UI) :
- Windows: C:\Program Files\Exelis\ENVI50\classic\save_add\
- Mac OS X: /Applications/Exelis/ENVI50/classic/save_add/
- UNIX/Linux: /usr/local/Exelis/ENVI50/classic/save_add/

Note:

To achieve better performance in ENIV's RPC-Orthorectification of Pleiades data, we suggest you change the setting of the following ENVI parameter:

File->Preference->Miscellaneous
Image Tile Size (Mb) >= 32
