The RapidEye sensors is a constellation of five identical sensors that capture imagery at 5m resolution, all of which were launched in August, 2008. This sensor captures five different multispectral bands, being red, green, blue, red edge, and near-infrared, making it a great option for those doing environmental and agricultural mapping, or measuring crop health. With the ability to capture large areas at once, as well as having five different sensors constantly collecting new data, this is also a great source for time series data, and has one of the largest archives for high – medium resolution sensors.
