Monitor, Measure & Mitigate: Integrated Solutions for Geohazard Risk

9/8/2025

Geohazards such as slope instability, erosion, settlement, or seepage pose ongoing risks to critical infrastructure. Roads, railways, pipelines, and utility corridors are especially vulnerable to these natural and human-influenced processes, which can evolve silently until sudden failure occurs. Traditional ground surveys provide only periodic... Read More >

ENVI SARscape Analytics: Flood Mapping

Megan Gallagher

This blog is the first in a series that highlights one of the easy-to-use tools in the new ENVI SARscape Analytics.  The second blog in this series features a video about the Time Series tool and the third covers Persistent Scatterers. ENVI SARscape Analytics was designed to make it quick and easy for those that may not be SAR experts to utilize SAR data for some of the most common applications.

The really cool thing about using SAR data for this application is that SAR can see through clouds and even rain, so you can get much more timely information instead of having to wait for a storm to clear for optical imagery analysis.
