Displacement Mapping in ENVI SARscape Analytics Demo

This SARscape Analytics demo is for DinSAR, or the Displacement Mapping, tool. This tool allows you to take two SAR images from before and after an event, and calculate the change in the ground surface that has occurred.

On July 21, 2020, an earthquake struck the state of Alaska, USA. It was a magnitude 7.8 earthquake, and caused minor damage in the town of Sandpoint, Alaska. It also triggered a tsunami warning. The video this blog highlights how SAR data from before and after the earthquake can easily be processed and analyzed with the DinSAR tool to show the effects of the earthquake.
