how to change the pixel depth of the result image when using math_doit? 1430 1

I am using MATH_DOIT for adding several bands. The pixel&160;depth of origin bands is 16bit signed integer, after addition, some pixel value&160;exceeds the 32768. But for the result of MATH_DOIT keep the pixel&160;depth as 16bit signed integer, the real result is wrong. How can the result of MATH_DOIT be change to 32 bit signed integer

I have downloaded Landsat 5 TM data from Earth Explorer avaialable free of cost for Change detection study. When I see header file, there is no information related to Gain or Bias.

&160;I would need some advice in Image Sharpening (&160;Gram-Schmidt Spectral Sharpening ). I have two images from Hyperion and QuickBird. The files are georeferenced ( Hyperion - "pseudo" Geographic,&160; QuickBird - UTM ). Spatial resolution: Hyperion - 30m, QuickBird - 0.6m (PAN)

Hello
I would need some advice in spatial and spectral resampling of HyMap data.
I have two images from the same area taken in 2005 and 2008. I should perform a change detection and for that I need the two datasets to coincide both spectrally and spatially.
For the spatial correction, I have done image-to-image registration in ENVI using GCPs. My RMS was 0.49 and the final output for the 2008 image was almost coinciding with the 2005 image. However, there is still about&160; 1 pixel differen...

&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160; Is there a bug in ENVI in opening raw satellite images, because if i open raw tiff image in ENVI it is rotated and transposed. So, every time if i open a raw image i want to roatate by 90 degree and transpose the image. how this problem can be sort out&160; for raw images (unprojected).

Hi.
I have a 320x256 Matrix ( A Mask with all 1 )and i want to create a mask of 0 and 1.
I have an ASCII file with x & y coordinates, like:

12 31
23 112 etc etc
How can I use ENVI to read the .txt file and set 0 the coordinates written in the ASCII file

HASP Lacense Problem with Window 7 64 bit 950 2

Installed ENVI 4.7 64bit and the license wizard ran fine (HASP dirver installed normally).&160; But when try to run ENVI, it shows an error that HASP not found.&160; I searched and seems some other users have the same problem with HASP dongle and windows 7 with other softwares.&160; So just wonder is it an ENVI problem or a Windows problem.&160; Is there any solution out there right now

Hi,
I have written an ENVI batch script which works fine on a desktop which has ENVI 4.3 installed. This ENVI installation uses a floating license. I have tested the script on a desktop which has ENVI 4.6 installed and the ENVI installation connects to a license server. This desktop produces the following error when 95 of script's commands have been executed:
``The ENVI license feature was not found.
Please start the ITT License Wizard to request an evaluation license.

&160;I have used two different types of software to atmospherically correct my thermal channels (ATCOR and winvicar). I have then applied emissivity normalization in ENVI. I believe the radiance units for both are mW/m^2/Um/sr so need a data scale factor of 0.001 to get to W/m^2/um/sr

I am new to ENVI and am trying to compile quickmaps from SRTM data.&160; I've got the images pieced together through mosiacking and I've added color to them from the color maps and inversing RGB.&160; When I add a color ramp to the image, the values on the ramp do not show up.&160; How do I get the elevation values to appear on the color ramp&160; How do I get it to stay so I can create a quickmap of it

Hi,
I am using Rule-Classification of Fx Module. When I extracted to Vector, it ran but did not give the result (or the vector file only 1kB). Then I chose "previous" , extracted again and it worked.
I also checked again many times and same problem , it seems unstable or I have any mistake Please help me to solve this problem.

When I get to step 19 and hit the "apply" button, ENVI comes up with this message: "The input spectrum does not contain the same number of bands as the target and no resampling can be done without wavelengths."
Please help me.

I cannot get the header info to import.&160; First I opened an external file, Geotiff and imported bands 1-5, 7.&160; Then I saved them as a ENVI standard. When I do so the header information does not translate over. In the download I received a text file will all the header information.
