Problem of SPEAR Google Earth Bridge 1467 0
Started by Deleted User
I am trying to use the SPEAR Google Earth Bridge. However, when I added a georeferenced file, it said 'Image datas can not determined for the following images'. Although&160;I tried different&160; georeferenced&160; images, I failed. Did you ever meet such a problem

temperature - rescale? 1351 0
Started by Deleted User
After using Emissivity Normalization to get temperature I have found the values to be very high. Do I need to rescale these values (e.g. divide image by 10000)
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hi ENVI community,
I'm having a problem with masking out features of a texture filter analysis. I'm hoping someone on here can help me out. Thanks in advance!
Problem: My area of interest (military base) is heavily fragmented with roads. I want to filter for texture (both first and second order in various window sizes) a satellite image over this area of interest. However, I do not w...

dtm files from Inpho Match-T and ENVI 1327 0
Started by Deleted User
Hi!
I´ve run into a problem when attempting to import files generated in Inpho´s Match-T DSM Generator into ENVI. The files are in a file format that ENVI doesn´t seem to recognise (*.dtm). Has anyone encountered the same problem and found a way past it I´d appreciate any ideas on how to break this puzzle.
Cheers,
Ann-Helen Mäki

DEM extraction - RPC information 1024 4
Started by Deleted User
Hi
I am testing the DEM extraction modules with&160;a set&160;of GeoEye-1 stereo images, but have&160;a problem:
To create an exact DEM one&160;needs to utilize the RPC (rational polygon cooeficient) information, which comes with the images in two separate files. But&160;how to do this when the DEM&160;wizard does not ask you for the RPC information
I also tried to associate the RPC to the images&160;prior to&160;starting the DEM extraction, but&160;this gives another problem as&16...

Hello,
Please help.&160; I have many MODIS images to georeference.&160; The ENVI basic tool is capable of doing it one image at a time.&160; Is there any available script to georeference many images say the For LOOP function and that files to be georeferenced will be contained in an INPUT folder similarly with the georeferenced file where it shall be placed on OUTPUT folder.
&160;
Thank you.

Spot NDVI (S10) projection in ENVI 995 1
Started by Deleted User
Dear all,
I'm new in this forum and I like the professional discussions in this forum. I've a question regarding Spot S10 NDVI. I dowloaded the images from Spot Vgt website and the come as HDF are&160; unprojected. The images are in geographical coordinates (WGS 84) as per the header information and an attached&160; ASCII text. However, they are not georegistered and hence the fields for northings and eastings are missing values. I want to convert the images in geographical coordinates and th...

image projection using the latitude and longitude of another image 1173 3
Started by Deleted User
Hi folks!
It may sound stupid but I cannot find a way to do the following...
I have two remote sensing data cubes, which cover almost the same geographic area, showing some misalignment between them (some shifting and a small difference of spatial resolution). I also have the latitude and longitude information of both images for every pixel. One cube is slightly smaller than the other (601x450 and 604x450).
I would like to project the small image using the coordinates of the other one, so bo...

Define Wavelength - Vegetation Indices 3353 1

Dear All:
I'm trying to use the Vegetation Analysis -> Vegetation Index Calculator as well as the other modules in the list. However, I get the following error message: "Wavelengths must be defined to calculate vegetation indices". I am working with GeoTiffs. I went to the header file and tried to define the wavelengths through the Edit Attributes --> Wavelengths but there is only space for one value of a wavelength while Landsat (the imagery I'm working with) bands cover a range of...

How to create a classified image from LIBSVM? 1119 1
Started by Deleted User
Hello. I have a 3-band ASTER image that I classified. I exported the training and testing pixels as ASCII and used LIBSVM to do the classification. I got close to 95 accuracy. LIBSVM also gave me the proper SVM parameters (slack and penalty). What I want to do now is bring these back into ENVI somehow so that I can get a classified image to compare with the maximum likelihood and neural net classification images that I derived completely with ENVI.
How can I go about using my LIBSVM work...

Spatial Statistics 1126 0

Hi ALL,
I would like to compute getis ord * statistic (standardised version getis ord) for a remotely sensed data using ENVI on a 3*3, 5*5, 7*7 and 9*9 kernels. ENVI provides only the getis ord (Not standardised) and this ignores the central cell. Nonetheless, I do not comprehend the various options of neighbourhood (rook, queen, etc) provided with the application. Even so after computing the spatial statistic using default settings, how then can I display the bar scale of the Getis index to se...
