Hi-- OK, tearing my hair out over this one. I've gotten everything thru FLAASH, all the atmospheric corrections have been made, etc....but all of the images are now geographically off by about 20-30 miles! I'm not sure if setting the center coordinate has anything to do with this...didn't think it should. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks-- Steve

Setting the scene center will not alter the map information. Can you post the header information from the input file? What is the input map projection? Is it different when output?

Hi--thanks for your reply! OK, the Original BIL file has the following header information (I stripped out all of the info for the bands since I don't think it's relevent) Projection info is UTM, WGS 84 Zone 41 N on both. also keep in mind that this is a subset of the ASTER imagery--i didn't need the entire scene (the image registration is much more accurate this way as well) I included info for Band 1 since it has filename, subsetting info, etc. Here is the first subsetted .BIL file (the base raster for conversion to reflectance) ENVI description = { File Resize Result, x resize factor: 1.000000, y resize factor: 1.000000.[Mon Oct 07 12:08:24 2013] [Wed Oct 09 16:38:22 2013]} samples = 1057 lines = 591 bands = 9 header offset = 0 file type = ENVI Standard data type = 4 interleave = bil sensor type = Unknown byte order = 0 x start = 3301 y start = 1218 map info = {UTM, 1.000, 1.000, 388248.608, 4252064.376, 1.5000000000e+001, 1.5000000000e+001, 41, North, WGS-84, units=Meters} wavelength units = Unknown band names = { Resize (Layer (ASTER VNIR Band1:AST_L1B_00308112004065331_20130930152340_19821.hdf):Stack_AST_L1B_00308112004065331_20130930152340_19821.dat), Resize (Layer (ASTER VNIR ******************************************************* and here is the converted-to-reflectance image using FLAASH (note the coordinates of the rectangle have shifted) ENVI description = { FLAASH Result [Mon Oct 14 23:39:58 2013]} samples = 1057 lines = 591 bands = 9 header offset = 0 file type = ENVI Standard data type = 2 interleave = bil sensor type = Unknown byte order = 0 x start = 3301 y start = 1218 map info = {UTM, 1.000, 1.000, 437748.608, 4233809.376, 1.5000000000e+001, 1.5000000000e+001, 41, North, WGS-84, units=Meters} wavelength units = Micrometers reflectance scale factor = 10000.000000 Band1:AST_L1B_00308112004065331_20130930152340_19821.hdf):Stack_AST_L1B_00308112004065331_20130930152340_19821.dat):BIL_AST_L1B_00308112004065331_20130930152340_19821.bil), Can't figure this out--it did something similar for all 10 files! Thanks-- Steve

What version of ENVI are you running? Try setting the xstart/ystart in the header of the subset file to [1,1] and then process in FLAASH. Does the map info change in this instance?

Hi-- OK, I did get it to work -- you're right it was a header issue. I just changed the coordinates in the hdr file rather than re-running the process. Thanks! --s
