    I want to use IDLnetURL function to download data from a remote ftp site. However, I found that ziped files(*.Z) that downloaded have wrong file sizes and cannot be unziped. Files in other format and downloaded from the same ftp don't have this problem. Any idea what's going on? Thanks!

    Hi Aurora, Have you tried downloading those zipped files with another application?. Do you see the same size discrepancies? Cheers, fernando

    Hi Fernando, I have tried to download them directly and was also able to unzip them. All the files looks right and the sizes are bigger than those downloaded using IDLnetURL. The files I am trying to download are from ftp://data-out.unavco.org/pub/rinex/obs/2010/016/ Thank you! Cheers, Aurora
