I'm running Yosemite (OS X 10.10.5) on a macbook pro. I just upgraded my IDL from 7.0.6 to 8.5. However, now when I want to bring up the help screen on a particular IDL routine (e.g. IDL> ? printf) , it does not work properly. It brings up the IDL help interface in my web browser, but it does not go to the appropriate topic, and prints the the following message to the IDL window:
IDL> osascript: OpenScripting.framework - scripting addition "/Library/ScriptingAdditions/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader.osax" cannot be used with the current OS because it has no OSAXHandlers entry in its Info.plist.
Is there a way to make this work properly on Yosemite? Thanks.
-Jonathan
If I look at /Library/ScriptingAdditions/LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader.osax/Contents/Info.plist I see the following:
> cat Info.plist
