    I don't know why, but when I use compiz and I run a program with widget_draw, all widget_draw become black. But when I use metacity, no problem. Someone has the solution?

    It may have to do with how the backing store for the WIDGET_DRAW contents is being held by 'compiz'. Do you initialize your WIDGET_DRAW with a RETAIN=2 keyword setting? If no, try that. If that works, can you let the Forum know in a reply? James Jones
