does any one have experience about how to read HE5T_NATIVE_INT8 data type from HDF5 file using IDL. When I use HDFview to open the file, the missing data is filled with -127, but after I use idl to read the data, all the missing data is filled with 0, which is a problem since valid data range is 0-100.
