Hi IDL users I want to create an algorithm for mapping species based on the methods I am using in ENVI interface. May I mention that I have not done nor do I know anything about programming. My plan was to use ERDAS Spatial Modeller to create my algorithm. Having been introduce to ENVI, I made a mistake by assuming that it would have environments (for creating algorithms) friendly to non-computer scientists such as spatial modeller which has library of graphical models I am competent in using for creating an algorithm. Anyone who can help me at least least get script(s) for 1)Delineating training areas 2) Classification algorithms such as minimum distance to mean, KNN, Maximum likelihood. 3)All the operations I have done during a ENVI session something similar to a Log file you can print after any ERDAS session Regards IZ SHEZI
