How to launch a pdf file from and IDL application

    Folks, we have this large application for which we are developing a pdf user's manual. The application has menus and I would like to be able to launch the user's manual from the 'About' menu. Do you know what is the command to do so? Thanks!

    you can launch a pdf file with ONLINE_HELP routine: ONLINE_HELP, BOOK='filename.pdf'
