Hi all, I have inherited some code from ENVI 3.2/3.5 days which makes use of "reg_warp_doit". But, running the program in the current version that I have (ENVI 4.3) yields the error: reg_warp_doit: An error has occured during processing Error: "FZ_ROOTS: too many iterations in laguer." The result may be invalid. I tried to look up as to when this function became obsolete (cuz I cannot find it in the current documentation) and what I might replace it with, but came up with naught. Then I tried to decipher the code and tried using "ENVI _REGISTER_DOIT" but again came up with the same error viz: envi_register_doit: An error has occured during processing Error: "FZ_ROOTS: too many iterations in laguer." The result may be invalid. Some of the end users of old code have assured me that the older code used to run fine and have even shown me some results. The current error I am getting is on the same old dataset. I guess, I am making some pretty basic error and any help would be highly appreciated. Gaurav

It may not be that the 'fx_roots' error is caused by the code running in a newer version of ENVI. You can get this error if you are using too high of a polynomial for your warp. What happens if you set the warp to RST or triangulation?
