Hi all, I have an IDL script which uses ENVI routines. I want to be able to run the IDL script on two or three machines but due to license limitations, i'm able to use only one IDL license at a time. However, we do have more than 5 ENVI licenses which means i can use ENVI on multiple machines. This brings me to my question. Since ENVI is completely written in IDL, can i open the ENVI GUI and run an IDL script from ENVI without having to use IDL? We have ENVI+IDL license. Just like how a Python script can be run from ArcGIS without having to use Python itself to run it, can i do the same by running the IDL script from ENVI without having to open IDL? In the ENVI GUI menu, i see options such as compile IDL module etc., but i don't know if thats what i should be looking for. Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks, Raghu
