    Hi, I'm only a beginner and I have no idea how I can see the difference between a georeferenced and non-georeferenced image. I have two images 1 from 1988 and the other one is from 1997. I looked at the map info, but no idea where I’m looking at.. Could someone please help me. Cheers, Milou

    Hi Milou, Perhaps the following articles will help demystify map projections and how they are used: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Map_projection http://www.colorado.edu/g...pproj/mapproj_f.html What is the map information for each image and what kind of images do you have i.e. Landsat, SPOT, Ikonos...? The other question is what do you plan to do with those images ?
