    Hello, I am trying to export my image into either a TIFF or JPG format. I used envi_output_to_external_format and was able to generate a TIFF file, but I can't read this file in XV! Does anyone know why this is? Also there doesn't seem to be a function in envi to export to a jpg. Why is that!? You are able to do it through the gui! Anyways, I am trying to use the IDL function WRITE_JPG, however it requires a 2 dimensional image array. Does anyone know how to obtain this image array from an envi file? Thanks, Andree

    Andree, In your main image window try File - Save Image As - Image File, then you can select JPG, Tiff etc, also spatial subset, compression, all that sort of stuff. Hope that helps. Cheers Doug
