Hi everyone, I need some help. I have a vector file with 686 feature points in vector format (.shp or .evf). I would like to extract the reflectance values for the exact geographic locations of these 686 points for all the spectral bands of different satellite images (so 6 bands of Landsat and 4 bands of SPOT) at its native spatial resolution. Can someone tell me how it can done in ENVI 4.5? Then I would like to rescale the spatial resolution to different scales (say, 40 m, 50 m, and 60 m for Landsat). Is this done with: Basic Tools > Resize Data (Spatial/Spectral)? Your advice will be much appreciated. Thanks for your time. Regards, Arun

I have been able to extract the reflectance values across the 6 bands of Landsat by converting the overlay vector>vector to ROI>ROI to ASCII. However, I found that my new ASCII text file has only reflectance info and location info across the 6 bands for 686 rows, however if the vector file has any other attribute fields (eg. plot/sampling point name), they didn't translate/transfer to the new ASCII text file! Basically, what I am looking is a tool/method which would let me transfer the reflectance values from the raster as attribute fields in the vector file! So my final vector attribute table would show plot name, location info, reflectance across the number of bands in the raster (Note: all data are in the same projection and datum!).
