Hi, I am currently trying to open a series of files but I want IDL to only open those with a certain extension. This seems like a simple enough problem but I cant seem to see how to go about it as if I specify the extension then IDL crahses when it attempts to open a file without theextension. Any help would be most appreciated. Regards Richard
