If you are using X windows, i.e. you are on a Unix or Linux box, you can use the RESOURCE_NAME keyword to WIDGET_BUTTON to change lots of things like button background colors. If you are using Windows, I think you are out of luck unless you use a bitmap button. Bitmap buittons are easy to use, I would not discount them as a possible solution. r moss
