I have a HYPERION image and it has a lot of vertical dark stripes. How can I remove that stripes? ENVI has a command "replace bad lines" but it does only work on the one-pixel width vertical columns. It doesn't work on more than one columns which are side by side. How can I solve this? Thanks a lot..

The Hyperion Toolkit available in the Code library on this website has a flag mask correction which should alleviate the vertical striping. The toolkit requires Hyperion data in HDF format.

There appears to be a problem with the current version of the code file for Hyperion Tools. USGS has changed the way they provide the data. The program was written for all information in one .L1R file, now information is split across two files. Data numbers in the L1R file and spectral center wavelengths, spectral bandwidths, gains coefficients, and a flag mask all in one .AUX file.
