    hello, I'm a PhD student trying to use MODTRAN for the first time and I need to compute the Transmittance and Atmospheric water vapor content. Could some one please give me some directions or IDL files that would help me figure it out. Many thanks,

    MODTRAN is not distributed with IDL. You might wish to contact the developers or distributors of the program for assistance.
