Hello everyone, I have written a code in IDL which interacts with ENVI. The code works fine on a Windows system but I need to run it on an Linux system. Is there a possibility on Linux to start ENVI+IDL (graphical -> idlde) together like in the Windows system with the "envi_idl.exe" file? Until now, with the Linux system, I can only start ENVI and IDL seperately which means that they can't interact together. Thanks for your help, wies_mi

Yes, you can launch the IDL that comes with ENVI first. Then in the IDL command line type: envi which will launch the ENVI Toolbar.
