Hi. I have tried to create a number of image maps today but once loaded if I try to add a colour ramp or even try to enlarge the scroll image, ENVI shuts down with this message - TEMPORARY Variable is undefined: DATA. Does anyone know what this means and how I can solve this?
Thanks

Do you happen to have your Display Window Style set to Scroll/Zoom (with no main image window)? We had one similar report when a user had their display window set to Scroll/Zoom (rather than image/scroll/zoom) and they had a custom scroll window size (such as 500x500 pixels). Creating a quickmap from this would cause the same error. You can try a different window style setting if this is the case to see if it resolves the issue.
Alternately, you can create the grids/color ramp/etc by displaying the image and going to Overlay ->Annotation.
