Hello, I have create a mosaic of two images and I was trying convert its projection system to EGSA87. My steps were as followed: map > convert map projection > select the image> change projection to Hellenic geodetic reference system 87. However, when overlaying my vector layers which are already in the desirable projection system, the image is not exactly at the same position with them. I am not sure what the problem is can you please indicate me what I am doing wrong?

Did the vectors overlay appropriately prior to reprojection? The vectors should be reprojected to overlay on the image regardless of the projection of the image so perhaps they did not overlay appropriately even before the reprojection or mosaic. In this case, you could perform a image to map registration using the vector layer as the base layer and select ground control between the vector and image layer and warp the image to the vector layer.
