Good Morning, I am trying to use the Hyperion toolkit, but I have problems already at the installation step. The User Guide points out that I need to place the hyperion_tools.sav and hyperion_wl_fwhm_bbl.txt files in my ENVI save_add and/or extensions folder and that the location of this folder will vary by operating system and ENVI version. I am using ENVI5.0 (without the "+" symbol indicated in the User Guide) Standard on a Windows platform, so according to the UG I should place the 2 files into the directory c:\program files\exelis\enviXX\extensions. The problem is that I do not have that directory. Instead, I have C:\Program Files\ITT\IDL\IDL80\products\... but in that directory there are neither enviXX folders, nor directories called extensions. In a video from the Exelis VIS YouTube channel I found that I can save the extensions in {home}\.idl\envi\extensionsX_X. Thus, I saved the 2 files there and now I can see toolkit in the extension folder of ENVI Toolbox. However, when I try to run the programm, an error message pops up telling that Average wavelenght/FWHM/BBL file must be installed (the parameters from the hyperion_wl_fwhm_bbl.txt file). Any suggestions?

If the only directory you have is "C:\Program Files\ITT\IDL\IDL80\products\ " then you do not have ENVI 5. This would be ENVI 4.8. You can place those files in the save_add directory of this ENVI installation as well. Under \products\envi48\save_add.
