Dear all
I have problem in converting countors line to DEM. My data is so big about 815MB. I tried more and more to converted, it showed me this error message "envi-grid-doit: an error has occured during processing. Unable to allocate memory to make array" Please help me about this problem.
My pc propertise is
Processor is intel core 3.4 GHz
System type is 64-Bit
RAM is 16GB

As far as I know envi_grid_doit only converts a point set into a raster layer. Breaking the contour lines into a set of points might result in too many points...

ArcGIS is an easy choice, if you have the software. Converting contour lines into raster takes only a few clicks.
