MOLA data in ENVI 5.0

    I need to analyze geospatial data from the Mars MOLA dataset in ENVI 5.0 in Windows 7. I tried opening MEG500N180GB.IMG, but ENVI doesn't seem to recognize the file type. I'm also trying to open a file in a folder named mola128_88Nto88S_Simp_clon0, which I downloaded from the USGS Pigwad site. It has a file named w001001.adf, which is 1.6 gb. Given the size of the file, I'm assuming it's map projected, but ENVI doesn't open it either. Thanks!

    To read the .img file, you will probably need the Hirise data reader available from the Code Library on this website (under User Community). A .adf format is typically associated with Esri GRID files but it should have an associated hdr.adf which you would select to open it as a GRID file.
