Hi, guys, I use 'map_set, 36, 105, scale=36E6, /lambert' to draw map in 'win' device, but use the same command in 'PS' device, the map range is different. How do I make the map looked same in 'win' and 'PS' device, ie. compute the right 'scale' paramter. Thanks! Dave

Executing this command in PostScript: ps_start map_set, 36, 105, scale=36E6, /lambert ps_end Results in a file that looks identical to what I see on the display. What makes you think the two are different?

Whoops! Sorry, I added /Continents, /Grid to that Map_Set command so I could actually see something in the output. But, with these changes, both looked identical to me.
