    Hello! I work with MODIS-Aqua level3 mapped data. I just need to cut some region from chlorophyll HDF files, example: A2013021.L3m_DAY_CHL_chlor_a_4km (array 8640,4320). Ussualy I use ENVI for this goal, but as it is necessary to process a great number of files (the period 2033-2012), I tried to write script in IDL. But I have no experience in IDL programming, it is really challenge for me and I have not yet succeeded. Could you possibly help me with my script? I would appreciate any your advice.     What tools do you use in ENVI to accomplish this task? I could point you to the equivalent routines to use to accomplish the task programmatically.
