As far as I now SAV file is a compiled code of IDL. So I have got next questions: 1. Do I need IDL license to use sav files? 2. How I can install sav file to ENVI?

    1) If the file only contains IDL code you could run it using the IDL Virtual Machine which doesn't require a license. More on that here: http://www.exelisvis.com/.../ArticleId/4633.aspx 2) If the *.sav file uses ENVI functions you'll need to install ENVI and get a license. The *.sav file should be added to the: C:\Program Files\Exelis\ENVI50\classic\save_add assuming an ENVI 5 installation. If you have another version locate the appropriate installation 'save_add' directory

    1. Would it possible to use in sav files that would work at IDL virtual machine function of IDL? (If IDL would not present at PC) 2. Is it's possible to run sav without ENVI + IDL and IDL without virtual machine?

If the *.sav file contains ENVI code you can only use it with ENVI. If the file contains IDL code you should be able to use the Virtual Machine. The VM is the same as IDL but without the user interface. You cannot run your *.sav file without either ENVI or IDL
