Hi- I'm working with some high-resolution imagery in ENVI... I've masked it and run an NDVI analysis on it, and now I'd like to quantify the number of pixels in certain value ranges... like, for example, the number of pixels that are between -1 and -0.5, -0.5 and 0, 0 and 0.5, and 0.5 and 1. Does anyone know how I might go about this? I'm not very experienced with IDL, but if there's no other way I could use it. Thanks! Emma

You could try using the Band Threshold to ROI tool. (Basic Tools > Region of Interest> ) You would need to run this for each of your anticipated parameters

Another option might be: - performing a Density Slice with the intervals you need, - exporting it as a classification, - performing the Class Statistics, to get more complete information. Regards, Emanuele
