ENVI 5.0 doesn't start

Hey Guys, ich have installed ENVI 5.0 and Sarscape First ENVI starts, when I was clicking the button. But today, when I was clicking the Button of ENVI 64bit, the ENVI Screen came up, but then there was a warning " Expression must be a scalar or 1 element in this context: " The only Option is to click "OK" an then ENVI shuts down. What I've tried: -Search the Internet, but I couldn't find any solution -Delete Temp Data -Deinstalled and Reinstalled (with SP2) (Both, ENVI and Sarscape) -Run ENVI in CLassic Mode (that works). Has any one any idea how I can fix this problem? Thanks for your help

Reinstallation probably would have worked but if there were remnant files left behind then the error could persist. I would suggest you uninstall ENVI 5.0 and Sarscape 5. Then remove the .idl and IDLWorkspace from your home directory (these contain many configuration files and will be recreated when you launch ENVI for the first time). Also, remove any remnant files in the \IDL82 directory (including the ENVI50 folder). Then reinstall ENVI 5 (SP2) and see if ENVI works. Then install Sarscape 5.
