I want to read avi files in IDL8.2.0. How can I do it? thank you!

Hi Rainman00, The quick answer is that IDL does not have a reader for avi files, or any movie format. But the good news is that, the next version of IDL, that is called IDL 8.2.3, will have a reader. So, if you can wait a short time, you will be able to read avi format files soon. In other words, tt's coming soon! Cheers, Fernando
