Hello all, I chose to place this post here as there don't appear to be any posts in the ENVI LiDAR section, in hopes that it may draw a little more attention. I am currently running E3D (now called ENVI LiDAR) to do some point cloud analysis. One thing that would be hugely beneficial would be to output the results into a 3D Model. Luckily, E3D has a built in 3D Viewer. I would like to output the results of some point cloud processing (Project Processing dialogue - mainly a DEM, tree vectors, and orthophoto) to the 3D Viewer window. I have a really nice ortho-mosaic that I would like to use as a base image. E3D does this by creating a "bitmap" orthophoto in .tif format and loading it into the 3D Viewer window. I have tried attempted numerous methods to load the ortho (or any .tif image for that matter) into E3D to have it appear in the 3D Viewer window, with no success. I'm looking for any suggestions to accomplish this task. I have tried testing with masked/clipped subset of the output bitmap as well - so I don't think that this is a resolution issue.
