I'm working with MERIS full resolution data and thus far have had a lot of trouble getting ENVI to properly work with it. I had no issues working with reduced resolution data from the ESA, so I'm at a loss here. I obtained the FR MERIS images from NASA Ocean Color in their original ESA file format, which only ENVI classic could load. ENVI 5 standard garbled the image and would only display it if I saved it in a ENVI file format in classic. I tried running the Georeference MERIS tool and when I specified that the pixels were 300 m, it produced a file with no data in it. I then tried using map registration but whenever I try to run the warp both standard and classic go unresponsive and crash. It doesn't matter if its the original file or an ENVI format. Has anyone encountered this before?
