Hello everyone, I'm working with hyperspectral data, 0.4 m spatial res, 48 band 7.2 nm spectral res., mostly with forest area. I have an issue after i used cutline feathering in mosaic tool. I used annotation tool to draw polyline (line where i want to cut both images) and symbol (whith image i want to cut), it doesn't make sens because i want to cut both images. Anyway i went forward, i made mosaic and result image is with a lot of zero(0) pixels, less 0 pixels are in overlap area. My question is, why the result is like i describe? What actually i want to do. I want only specify cutline between two mosaic images. Of course in future i want make whole mosaic with my specified cutlines! Best regards, Skywalker

It is hard to say what happened but it doesn't sound typical. Another approach would be to draw polygons or ROIs of the areas you want to cut and use Subset via ROI. Then these areas would just be background and you can use the background value to ignore. If you can't make this work, it might be best to contact Technical Support directly. There is a new mosaic tool coming in ENVI 5.1 that hopefully will be useful for you.
