Is anyone working with SPOT 6 data? These data come in a JPEG2000 format (the extension is JP2). I can open them with ArcGIS but they aren't fully compatible yet (ASTRIUM says it will be better in 10.2), and I cannot get the current GDAL to see the projection information in the file. So, I'm curious if the latest ENVI 5 supports these images any better. The projection information is actually in a DIMAP formatted XML file along side the images. If ENVI could read all those parameters and be able to work with them, as in the ACM module (QUAC and FLAASH) it would be particularly useful to me. Please advise. Thanks.

You should be able to open SPOT 6 through the .DIM file. When opened in ENVI 5, in the Layer Manager, right click to view the metadata which should show the 'Spectral' metadata and the gains/offsets that can be applied to the data to convert to radiance. Quac does not require any information about the sensor since it uses in-scene statistics to estimate endmembers and reflectance. FLAASH could also be used but currently ENVI does not have the spectral response file needed for FLAASH. If you could get one from the SPOT data providers, then it could be converted to a spectral library file and then used in FLAASH. All the rest of the parameters can be manually entered and then used Unknown multispectral sensor.
