Does anyone know how to connect to remote ArcGIS server? I am using ENVI 5.0.3 (32 and 64 bit) and am having issues: I open the remote connection manager > connection > new The URL of the ArcGIS server is http://gisprpxy.itd.state.ma.us/arcgi... (this works as a remote connected ArcGIS server in ArcMap just fine so I'm sure the URL is correct and my firewalls allow for this). I leave the default under "name" I select ArcGIS Server from the drop down. The last two fields are self-populate as gisprpsy.itd.state.ma.us and 80 for port. They are grayed out. I click OK and get the error: "Failed to Connect To Server" I tried this using ENVI 64 bit and got an error that I needed to use ENVI 32 bit. Which is where I am still getting this "Failed to Connect To Server" error. I tried some other server connections also from the state of Mass, all with the same issues in ENVI. Works fine in ArcMap. Is there some setting I need to modify? Thanks for any info

I tried your link and it doesn't work for me either. It seems the address is not in the format that ENVI expected and it has been reported to our developers because it *should* work. I am afraid it will not work in ENVI at this time.
